On Saturday July 16th STPD Officers handled 24 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 E Market St

At 0145 hours an Officer met with the victim to report a theft of her cell phone that occurred while she was at Fat Daddy’s.  The victim tracked the phone using GPS to the Shiloh area.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft from vehicle-Mister Car Wash, 2720 E Market St

At 1230 hours an Officer responded to Mister Car Wash to report a theft from his vehicle.  The victim advised an iPod had been taken from his vehicle.

Retail theft-Fine Wines and Good Spirits, 2547 E Market St

At 1425 hours an Officer responded to Fine Wines and Good Spirits for the report of a retail theft where the suspects fled.  An employee advised two females took four bottles of liquor valued at $90 and fled in a vehicle.  A tag number was obtained and the suspects later returned and worked out an agreement with the store to pay for the merchandise.

Retail theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1522 hours Officers responded to Boscov’s for the report of four males that stole $97 worth of merchandise.  The males were located in the Food Court of the mall and found to be juveniles.  They were released to a guardian with charges to be filed.

Retail theft-Sears, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1843 hours an Officer responded to Sears for the report of a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised a female had taken $179 worth of merchandise and fled in a green Honda sedan.
