Thefts from vehicles

Over the past several days STPD Officers have taken numerous reports of thefts from vehicles in several neighborhoods in the Township.  Most of the vehicles that were entered were reported to be left unlocked by the owners.  Please remember to remove any valuables from your vehicles and lock the doors to prevent theft. 

If you see anyone suspicious around your neighborhood in the evening or overnight hours, please call 911 immediately so an Officer can respond and investigate.  Suspects who commit these types of thefts are often apprehended by police responding to a call from an alert citizen.
