On Friday, January 22nd, 2016 at 7:37am Springettsbury Police and EMS were dispatched to Route 30 Eastbound just East of the Mount Zion Road entrance ramp for a reported motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Investigation revealed that a Nissan Sentra initially traveling Westbound crossed over the median and collided with a Nissan Altima traveling Eastbound. The operator of the Sentra sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to the hospital by EMS. Rte. 30 Eastbound was closed for approximately 2 hours while police investigated the crash. Anyone that may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Sgt.
