On Wednesday November 4th, 2015, STPD Officers responded to 31 incidents, investigated 7 motor vehicle crashes and responded to 4 false alarms.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Theft-2650 Eastern Blvd

The victim came to our station to report a theft. She advised that she had $200 taken out of her wallet on 10/24. The victim provided limited suspect information.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St. for a female shoplifter in custody. On scene Walmart loss prevention advised that the actor concealed merchandise and left the store without paying. The actor was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and released.

Retail Theft-Bed Bath and Beyond, 2845 Concord Road

On 11/4/2015 at 1525 hrs, Police responded to Bed Bath and Beyond for a retail theft. Upon arrival, It was found that a w/f had taken 4 chairs and an area rug with a total value of $130. The w/f left the merchandise and left on foot. She was identified by her PA Drivers License which she left behind. Charges to be filed.

Retail Theft-Sears, 2899 Whiteford Road

Police were called to Sears for a report of a theft. Investigation revealed that one adult female employee had stolen $245.00 from a cash register. The female was arrested for Theft by Unlawful Taking and transported to Central Booking for arraignment due to having no fixed address.

Bad Checks-Apple Nissan, 1510 Whiteford Road

On station, Police received a bad check complaint which occurred at Apple Nissan, 1510 Whiteford Road. A subject went to the business and passed a check, which was subsequently returned marked “Non-Sufficient Funds” as a down payment on a vehicle.

Disorderly Conduct-York Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Road

At 1930 hours on 11-4-15 Police responded the the Galleria Mall Security office for a report of two male in custody for disorderly conduct. Upon arrival it was determined the suspects were cursing and swearing while inside the mall. The two suspects were cited and released for disorderly conduct.

Theft-3205 East Market Street

On 11-4-15 at 2030 hours Police responded to 3205 E. Market St. Apt J-2 for a theft report. Upon arrival the victim reported that sometime between 1700 hours and 2030 hours an unknown suspect/s removed a box from his living room that contained morphine.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Complainant advised that they had an adult male in custody at the Walmart, located at 2801 E. Market St. for retail theft. The male suspect was found to have a traffic warrant. He was transported to Central Booking for the warrant. Second offense retail theft charges are pending.
