On Monday November 2nd, 2015 STPD Officers responded to 38 incidents, investigated 2 crashes and responded to one false alarm. In addition, the following crimes were investigated.
Criminal Mischief-760 South Russell Street
Vandalism occurred to the victim’s vehicle sometime between 1600 hours on 10/31/15 and 0830 hours on 11/01/15. The vehicle was parked in the drive-way at 760 South Russell St and unknown person(s) put a nail or spike into the side wall of the front right tire of their gray Toyota Camry, causing the tire to go flat.
Criminal Mischief-Youth Development Center, 3564 Heindel Road
A juvenile staying at the Youth Development Center on Heindel Rd damaged property on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 0813 hours. The female juvenile pushed over a table with a tv and x-box sitting on it. The x-box broke when it hit the floor. The value of the x-box is $350.
Criminal Mischief- 391 Rita Road
Police were called to 391 Rita Rd for a report of criminal mischief. Investigation revealed that several sections of the victim’s fence were scratched and damaged.
Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
The complainant, who is with Walmart asset protection, reported a retail theft at the Walmart located at 2801 E. Market St. The suspects left with stolen merchandise and were last seen getting on a Rabbit Transit bus that was heading into York City. Investigation continues.
Theft-Mister Car Wash, 2720 East Market Street
Responded to Mister Carwash, 2720 E. Market St. for a theft report. Upon my arrival the victim advised that while his vehicle was getting cleaned, someone stole a cell phone from inside. Information was obtained for further investigation.
Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
Police responded to Walmart, 2801 E. Market St., for a reported retail theft. On arrival loss prevention had an adult female in custody. Loss prevention reported the female stole miscellaneous cosmetic items. The female was cited and released.
