Over the weekend, 10/31/2015-11/01/2015, STPD Officers responded to 40 incidents and investigated 2 crashes.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Harassment-East Market Street at Haines Road

On October 31st 2015 at 0244 hours Police responded to the area of E Market St at Haines Rd for a report of an assault. The victim advised that he was assaulted by two unknown subjects in this area.

Disorderly Subject-2250 East Market Street

Police responded to the above location for the report of an individual huffing an unknown substance from a can. Upon arrival officers observed a male sitting on the ground in front of the business leaning over and moaning. He was holding a can of air duster in his hand close to his mouth. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for a check up. He was then transported to Central Booking to be arraigned on the illegal use of the air duster.

Criminal Mischief-550 South Harlan Street

Police responded to the parking lot of Sams Club to meet with a victim regarding a criminal mischief that occurred at 550 S. Harlan St. The victim reported an unknown suspect(s) keyed her car and put nails in her tires causing them to go flat.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Police responded to Walmart, 2801 East Market St. for a retail theft report. Upon arrival,  loss prevention had an adult female in custody for retail theft. Loss prevention reported this female stole five clothing items valued at $52.64. The subject was cited for retail theft and released from custody.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 10/31/2015 at 1706 hrs, Police responded to Walmart for a retail theft. Loss prevention tried to stop a female and she fled into the parking lot after stealing merchandise.   The juvenile female was located and identified. She was issued a Non-Traffic Citation for retail theft and released to her father.
