On Saturday February 6th, 2021 at approximately 2:26 PM, Springettsbury Township Police and medical personnel were dispatched to the intersection of East Market Street (SR462) and Mills Street for a reported motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a silver Mazda CX7, making a left turn from the westbound lanes of East Market St. onto Mills St., collided with a black Ford F150 traveling Eastbound. Both occupants of the Mazda were transported to York Hospital to be treated for their injuries. The passenger, a 93 year female from Columbia, PA died at the hospital. The driver is still being treated for his injuries. The male driver of the Ford was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
