Springettsbury Township will host a swearing-in ceremony for Chief Todd King on Thursday, October 10 at the Board of Supervisors regular meeting at 7:00 pm, in the Township boardroom, 1501 Mt. Zion Rd., York, PA 17402.
Todd King was promoted to Chief of Police on September 21 following the departure of former Chief Dan Stump.
Chief King joined the Springettsbury Police Department as a patrolman in 1997. He has worked through various positions within the department and has operated numerous community policing initiatives under the supervision of former Chief Stump.
A reception will precede the regular meeting, beginning at 5:45 pm in the Springettsbury Township Administration Building lobby. Light refreshments will be served.
