On Friday September 21st STPD Officers handled 28 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Giant, E Market St

At 1045 hours an Officer responded to Giant and met with an employee who advised two females pushed a cart full of merchandise out of the store without paying.  They were last seen getting into a vehicle and leaving the area.  The tag number was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Underage drinking-Central High School

At 1430 hours the School Resource Officer took a report that several students were drinking alcohol at the school.  The investigation is ongoing.

Forgery-First Capital FCU, Eastern Blvd

At 1555 hours an Officer responded to the credit union for the report of a subject who had attempted to pass a forged check.  Suspect information was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Simple assault-Quality Inn, E Market St

At 1723 hours Officers responded to the Quality Inn for the report of a physical domestic.  Investigation revealed a male and female had been fighting in the parking lot.  The male was taken into custody, transported to Central Booking and charged with simple assault.  The female was taken to the hospital for treatment and will be cited for harassment.
