On Thursday April 12th STPD Officers handled 25 incidents, investigated 9 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 4 alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Hit and run-Tulsa Rd at N Hills Rd
At 0952 hours an Officer responded to Tulsa Rd for a hit and run report. A witness advised a tractor/trailer struck a road sign at this location on 4/11/18. Information was obtained on the striking vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.
Bad check-Members 1st FCU, 2360 Whiteford Rd
At 1200 hours an Officer took a bad check report from Members 1st. The check was passed in 2017 and information was provided for the subject involved. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1322 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a male in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the male had taken $38 in merchandise without paying. He was cited and released.
