On Wednesday April 4th STPD Officers handled 29 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of drug paraphernalia-Chateau Motel, 3951 E Market St

At 0025 hours Officers responded to the Chateau Motel for the report of a disturbance.  A male and female advised they were arguing after taking narcotics.  Drug paraphernalia was located in their room and they were released with charges to be filed.

DUI crash-Sheetz, 3998 E Market St

At 0311 hours Officers responded to Sheetz for the report of a female acting erratically.  It was discovered that the female was under the influence of drugs and had crashed her vehicle nearby.  She was arrested for DUI and taken to Central Booking for processing.

Receiving stolen property-Eastern Blvd at Locust Grove Rd

At 0646 hours an Officer responded to the construction site at this location for the report of a subject sleeping in a truck which was stuck in the mud.  The subject was found to be under the influence of drugs and the truck was stolen.  The male was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for medical treatment.  Charges to be completed.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1333 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $45 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was cited and released.

Identity theft-2800 block of Forrest Ln

At 1900 hours an Officer met with the victim for a report of identity theft.  The victim stated that he recently discovered that someone used his personal information to open several wireless phone accounts.
