On Sunday October 29th STPD Officers handled 25 incidents, investigated 7 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
False ID to Law Enforcement-Eastern Blvd at Mills St
At 0254 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Mills St. The driver provided false information about her identity. It was discovered that she has a suspended drivers license. She was transported to Central Booking and charged with False ID and traffic offenses.
Simple assault-Greensprings Apartments, Bridlewood Way
At 1011 hours an Officer responded to the Greensprings Apts for an assault report. The victim advised he was assaulted by a known subject who was no longer on scene. The suspect was not located and charges were completed.
Theft-1600 block of Northview Rd
At 1735 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Northview Rd for the report of a theft. The victim advised a lawn decoration had been stolen from his property overnight.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1858 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft where the suspects had fled. An employee advised two males took $68 worth of merchandise without paying and fled when confronted. They left the area in a white sedan and photos will be posted for identification assistance.
Harassment-2000 block of Raleigh Dr
At 1910 hours Officers responded to Raleigh Dr for the report of a domestic. Investigation revealed a male and a female got into an altercation. Prosecution was declined by the female victim.
Theft of services-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 2110 hours an Officer took a report for a theft that occurred at Walmart. The victim was a taxi driver who advised a subject was dropped off at the store and fled without paying his cab care. The subject was later identified and charges are pending.
Motorcycle theft-Suburban Park Apartments, Carnegie Rd
At 2349 hours an Officer responded to the Suburban Park Apts for a theft report. The victim advised her Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot within the past day. It was entered into NCIC as stolen.
