On Saturday October 21st STPD Officers handled 20 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Criminal mischief-100 block of Carriage Hill Ln

At 1451 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Carriage Hill Ln for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised that some time overnight the door of his vehicle was kicked, resulting in a large dent.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1516 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $24 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was cited for summary retail theft and taken to Central Booking for numerous arrest warrants.

Theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1834 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a theft report.  The victim advised that she accidentally left her wallet in a shopping cart.  The wallet was found in the store but cash was missing.  Video surveillance revealed a male took the cash out and left the wallet on a shelf.  Photos of the male were provided and disseminated for identification assistance.

Possession of marijuana/drug paraphernalia-Rt 30 at N Sherman St

At 2131 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Rt 30.  The driver was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  He was released with charges to be filed.
