On Friday August 25th STPD Officers handled 24 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Retail theft-Best Buy Mobile, 2899 Whiteford Rd
At 1257 hours an Officer responded to Best Buy Mobile for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier. An employee advised three males worked together to take $1135 worth of merchandise without paying.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1918 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the female had taken $39 worth of merchandise without paying. The female had one prior conviction for retail theft and was released with misdemeanor charges to be filed.
Criminal trespassing-3900 block of Waverly Ct
At 2149 hours Officers responded to a residence on Waverly Ct for a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed a male entered the home of the female without her permission and an argument ensued. Charges pending further investigation.
