On Tuesday July 11th STPD Officers handled 27 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-Main Car Care, 57 Locust Grove Rd

At 1219 hours an Officer responded to Main Car Care for a theft report.  An employee advised that within the past week an unknown person stole a sheet of state inspection stickers from the business.

Theft-Concord Rd

At 1445 hours an Officer met with the victim for a theft report.  The victim advised that within the past week someone stole a bottle of prescription medication from her vehicle.

Identity theft-1900 block of City View Rd

At 1600 hours an Officer took a report of identity theft.  The victim advised she recently discovered that her information was used to open a cell phone account in June in Tennessee.

Simple assault-Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 2040 hours Officers responded to the food court of the Galleria Mall for an assault.  The victim advised a coworker pushed her to the ground, breaking her wrist.  The suspect fled the mall on foot but was located by police nearby.  He was taken to Central Booking and charged with simple assault.
