On Wednesday July 5th STPD Officers handled 27 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Theft from vehicle-Home Depot, 2905 E Market St
At 1130 hours an Officer responded to Home Depot for a theft report. The victim advised someone had taken power tools out of his vehicle while he was in the store shopping.
Simple assault-3400 block of E Market St
At 1155 hours an Officer responded to a residence on E Market St for an assault report. The victim advised she was assaulted by two subjects she knows. The investigation is ongoing.
Criminal mischief-Penn Oaks Park, Edenbridge Rd
At 1300 hours an Officer took a report for damage to a portable toilet at Penn Oaks Park. The caller reported someone had set off a firework in the portable toilet and they provided suspect information. The investigation is ongoing.
