On Monday March 20th STPD Officers handled 33 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft from a vehicle-Suburban Park Apartments, Carnegie Rd

At 0029 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a theft from a vehicle.  The victim advised her purse was taken from her vehicle between 1730 and 0000 hours.

Disorderly conduct-Central York High School-601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 0800 hours the School Resource Officer took a report for two students who got into a fight.  Charges are pending further investigation.

Harassment-Central York Middle School, 1950 N Hills Rd

At 0930 hours the School Resource Officer took a report for harassment occurring between students over social media.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Giant, 2415 E Market St

At 1115 hours an Officer responded to Giant for the report of a retail theft that had occurred earlier on this date.  An employee advised a female left the store without paying for $178 worth of flowers.  The tag number of the female’s vehicle was obtained and she was identified.  Charges to be filed.

Theft-2600 block of Kingston Rd

At 1258 hours an Officer responded to an address on Kingston Rd for the report of a theft of jewelry.  The victim provided possible suspect information and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-Jamison Dr

At 1440 hours an Officer spoke with the victim about harassment that occurred over social media.  The victim advised an unknown subject from California has been sending her threatening messages.  The investigation is ongoing.

Escape-Youth Development Center, 3564 Heindel Rd

At 1450 hours an Officer responded to YDC for the report of a juvenile male who fled custody while being transported to YDC from school.  The juvenile was entered into NCIC and charges for Escape were filed due to the juvenile residing there under a court order.
