Fire Investigation

On Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at approximately 4:27pm York Area United Fire and Rescue and the Springettsbury Township Police were dispatched to a brush fire in the 600 block of Edgewood Road.  Investigation revealed that just prior to the fire starting, a male wearing a ski mask was captured by a trail camera located on the property walking in the area of the where the fire occurred.   If anyone has any information as to the identity of this male, please contact the Springettsbury Township Police at 717.757.3525 or York County Control at 717.840.2971.
