On Saturday December 10th STPD Officers handled 18 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1654 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised the male had taken $421 worth of merchandise and fled when confronted.  The male got into a red Pontiac van with MD tags and left the area.  The tag number was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Trespassing-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

at 1725 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a trespassing report.  An employee advised a male was in the store even though he had been banned due to committing retail thefts.  The male was identified and charges will be filed.

Retail theft-Kohls, 2600 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1802 hours an Officer responded to Kohls for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $905 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was released with charges to be filed.

Harassment-1000 block of Canford St

At 2042 hours Officers responded to a residence on Canford St for a physical domestic dispute.  Investigation revealed one female struck another female in the face during the argument.  Charges will be filed.

 Disorderly conduct/Harassment-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 E Market St

At 2152 hours Officers responded to Fat Daddy’s for the report of a male fighting with employees.  Witnesses advised the male was trying to fight other customers and then fought with security when they tried to intervene.  The male was taken into custody after a struggle and transported to Central Booking where he was charged with summary offenses.
