Daily Report for November 20th, 2016

On Sunday November 20th STPD officers handled 17 incidents and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-Jayme Dr

At 0131 hours Officers responded to a call for service on Jayme Dr.  Officers made contact with one male who was found to be driving under the influence.  He was arrested and taken to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1313 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken items on several occasions in the past week and the total loss was $102.  She was released with charges pending further investigation.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1332 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $210 worth of merchandise.  She was released with misdemeanor charges to be filed.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1801 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a juvenile female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the juvenile had taken $6 worth of merchandise.  She was released to a guardian and will be referred to the Youth Aid Panel.

At 1957 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft report where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised the male suspect had taken $17 worth of merchandise and fled when confronted.  He left the parking lot in a dark sedan.  Images of the male were provided and will be disseminated.

Harassment-Youth Development Center, 3564 Heindel Rd

At 1951 hours an Officer responded to YDC for the report of a juvenile female resident who struck a staff member.   Charges will be filed.
