On Saturday November 12th STPD Officers handled 16 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-Northern Way at E Market St

At 0001 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St.  The driver was found to be intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.

Retail theft-K Mart, 1094 Haines Rd

At 1344 hours an Officer responded to K Mart for a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised a male had selected a Razor electric scooter valued at $249 and quickly exited the store via a rear emergency exit.  When the male exited the store, there was a white mini van waiting for him and he got into the van with the merchandise and fled the area.

Theft of a bicycle-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1605 hours an Officer met with the victim at Walmart for the report of a theft.  The victim advised he placed his bicycle on a rack outside the store at 0730 hours and when he returned at 1600 hours, the bicycle was gone.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1638 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $70 worth of merchandise.  The female was released and will be charged with a misdemeanor due to this being her second offense for retail theft.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 2036 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $493 worth of merchandise.  The female was identified and released with charges to be filed.

Public drunkenness-Chuck E Cheese, 2801 E Market St

At 2055 hours Officers responded to Chuck E Cheese for the report of a customer trying to fight other customers and employees.  Witnesses advised the female and her male acquaintance were acting inappropriately and not allowing children to play with one of the arcade games.  When an employee asked them to move away from the game, the female became belligerent and threatened the employee.  The female was found to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and she was cited for public drunkenness and released.
