On Sunday June 26th 2016, STPD Officers handled 18 incidents and responded to 3 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
DUI-Northern Way at Eastern Blvd
At 0149 hours an Officer observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Eastern Blvd. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing. Charges pending BAC results.
DUI-Mt Zion Rd at Industrial Dr
At 0216 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Mt Zion Rd. The driver was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing. Charges pending BAC results.
Retail theft/False ID to LE-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1728 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a juvenile male in custody for retail theft. The juvenile was found to have taken $4 worth of fireworks without paying and then provided false information about his identity. The juvenile was released to a parent and charges will be filed.
DUI-2500 block of Eastern Blvd
At 2206 hours an Officer observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Eastern Blvd. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be intoxicated. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for a blood test and then to Central Booking for processing. The driver was charged with his second offense of DUI.
