Daily Report-Tuesday May 31st, 2016

On Monday May 30th 2016, STPD Officers handled 17 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Burglary-The Gamer’s Realm of York, 1278 Greensprings Dr

At 1219 hours an Officer responded to The Gamer’s Realm of York for the report of a burglary that occurred between 5/28/16 and 5/30/16.  An unknown actor forced entry into the business and vandalized several things inside.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1400 hours Officers responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft in progress.  Two subjects were later stopped and found to be in possession of $640 worth of items.  One subject was also in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Both subjects were transported to Central Booking and charged due to not having valid PA addresses.

Harassment-Suburban Park Apartments, Carnegie Rd

At 1933 hours Officers responded to a residence at the Suburban Park Apartments for the report of a physical domestic dispute.  A male subject was reported to have struck a female during an argument.  The male will be cited for harassment.

Theft-Sincerely Yours, 1600 Mt Zion Rd

At 2206 hours an Officer responded to the Sincerely Yours assisted living facility for the report of a theft of money.  The victim advised $75 was taken from her on 5/27/16.
