On Tuesday May 3rd, 2016 STPD Officers responded to 23 incidents, investigated 3 crashes and responded to 2 alarms.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Forgery-Walgreens, 2350 East Market Street

Police responded to Walgreens, 2350 E. Market St. for a fraud report. Upon my arrival the complainant advised that a client had attempted to pass fraudulent prescriptions. Information was obtained for further investigation.

Theft-Brunswick at Longstown, 2830 Carol Road

Police responded to the Brunswick at Longstown, 2830 Carol Rd. for a theft report. Upon arrival the complainant advised that a resident had property stolen from his room.

Hit and Run-Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Road

Police responded to the Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Rd. for a hit and run report. Upon the victim advised that his vehicle was struck while parked in the parking lot.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 5-3-16 at 1436 hours Police responded to Walmart at 2801 E. Market St. for a report of two females in custody for retail theft. Upon arrival it was determined the suspects had taken a total of $58.81 in merchandise. Both suspects were non-residents so they were transported to Central Booking for arraignment.

Theft by Deception-Target, 2610 Pleasant Valley Road

Police responded to Target, 2610 Pleasant Valley Rd. for a theft by deception. Upon arrivalthe complainant  advised that an employee had been stealing from the business by use of gift cards. Information was obtained for further investigation.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 5-3-16 at 1659 hours Police were dispatched to Walmart at 2801 E. Market St for a report of a female in custody for retail theft. Upon arrival it was determined the suspect had taken $32.40 in merchandise. The suspect was cited and released at the scene.

Weapons Charges-Galleria Mall-, 2899 Whiteford Road

Austin Craley was located and arrest at the Galleria Mall for outstanding warrants. Craley was in possession of three handguns that are believed to be stolen. Custody of Craley turned over to York Area Regional Police at their request. Craley’s property retained by this agency.  Charges to follow.
