On Wednesday April 20th, 2016 STPD Officers responded to 32 incidents, investigated 2 crashes and responded to 1 alarm.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

Responded to Wal-Mart for a reported retail theft. Upon arrival loss prevention officers advised that a female selected several cosmetics items and left the store without paying. The female was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and then released.

Retail Theft-K-Mart, 1094 Haines Road

Police responded to Kmart, 1094 Haines Rd. for a retail theft. On scene  loss prevention  advised that a male concealed merchandise and left the store without paying. Kmart loss prevention advised that they stopped the actor outside the store and recovered some of the merchandise but not all. Kmart loss prevention advised that he actor then refused to stay and walked away.

Retail Theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Road

On April 20th 2016 at approximately 1710 Police were dispatched to Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford York PA 17402 for a retail theft. The investigation revealed a juvenile female stole $55.00 worth of baby clothing. Youth Aid to be filed.

Stalking-17 S. Rockburn St.

On April 20, 2016 at approximately 2239 hours Police responded to 17 South Rockburn Street for a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival a male was found hiding in the bushes in the backyard. The male was taken into custody for stalking, transported to central booking.

Disorderly Conduct-100 Cropthorne Lane

On the above date and time Police responded to 100 Cropthorn Ln for the report of a disturbance. Upon investigation one subject involved will be arrested for disorderly conduct. Citation to be filed.
